<Description of event>
After Synners capture by imperial forces, a task force is being assembled in order to recover him from the Imperial's clutches.
Intelligence has indicated that he will be transfered to the Imperial Prison on Dathomir, a space offensive will be launched to attempt to disable the transport and escort in an attempt to board the ship and rescue Synner.

Obviously can't board the ship itself, however it will be a DISABLE mission so that the crew onboard have time to RP an escape/self destruct etc.

The basic plan for the event will be as follows:
1900 - OOC meeting to discuss overview of event.

Once the event is ready to go, the Imperial forces will be launching from Tattooine and will be travelling system to system using the highlighted hyperspace lanes to traverse the systems. Jump Points and any necessary Route Waypoints to be established and circulated to all parties

The Rebel forces will be co-ordinated to launch an ambush in one of the systems enroute.

Dependant on the outcome of this Ambush will determine the 2nd part of the event:
Imperial transport is disabled - the crew of the ship will "evacuate" to the ground of the nearest planet (whatever system they are caught in) this will lead into the ground portion of the event with the Imperials trying to regroup and the rebels attempting to find them.

Imperial transport is not disabled - this means that they will get through to Dathomir where the rebels will need to regroup and try and intercept the transport on the ground.

Waypoints for the above locations to be established and circulated

<Current Issues>

Our primary concern is making sure everyone is available for the event. I'd like to run a trial 'Mock Battle' so we can do a final test of the RP Equipment and make sure everything is balanced and we can practice disabling each other rather than blowing each other up (easily done) and then we'll be ready for the final event. As such, I'd like from everyone specific dates of availability or if it's easier, when they're not available so we can then set a date for the Mock Battle and for the Main Event.

After we are happy that we can get everyone together, we'll need to make sure everyone is aware of the space routes and the ground locations to be used throughout the Event. The Galaxy is a pretty large place and we don't want to be missing each other As such, the Rebel recon of Mos Luna can be the source of the info for the locations of transports and possible ground transfer routes. The security has since been severely upgraded, and if anyone tries that again, we'll have em shot or sent on a prison ship of their own. (unless they talk to us about it first, and then we might be a bit more friendly about it and suggest some OOC tips to give you a fighting chance )

How about sunday the eigth? We can do the mock battle stuff on the saturday before it, possibly even this weekend.

To add my 2 cents:
For me, every day works during the week between around 6-9 pm GMT. Weekends are more flexible.

But:
Next weekend, Mina will visit me again, so we wont be around much from Friday Evening to Sunday Afternoon.

Sunday Evening would work, but again, not much longer than 9 pm.

Let it die, make a clear cut and start a complete new "story".

Maybe better to let it die.
Make a new story and make a whole storyline. And all Episodes should have a mainframe and everything is makeable and the needed equipment will be there finished and tested in time.

Since it is your own rescue you didnt participate much in the planing... maybe if instead of crying "save me! save me!", you should have participate a bit more constructive yourself.

I don't think it is worth my time to comment your language.

So feel free to hunt me, i am tired of some of the "Farstar" attitude here..sometimes i really think i have choosen the wrong server.

Since it seems you all have had a long time to get this and other events working and have shown really no progress on ANY type of RP save drills and such, give me a shot. Ive got a series of events in mind, and really would like to do them.

One of our problems: Publicity. We need to create an OFFICIAL Roleplaying Council and group and make it public on the forums. We need to let people know "hey were doing RP" and we need to do it.

I see lots of blame being pushed around here, but for the most part the blame is shared by all who were supposed to be working on the event. I know some people had conditions/circumstances etc that stopped them from working on it, but if they did it would have been polite to post a "hey, im a little busy/not doing well right now, can you guys handle it?".

Another reason for why we have failed so far is coordination and communication. I posted an idea or two for events. Its got 18 or so views, but not a single person could be bothered to give feedback! If you dont like it, say it and say why! Today this site got its first few posts in a week and that was to push blame on people for not doing anything.

I suspect that this post will generate frustration towards me which was not what I intended, but I want to see RP on this server grow. So please, I know the truth is annoying, but don't blame me for it.

As we've been unable to progress with this event we've had synner released/escaped from prison by other means, so either way this event isn't needed anymore.

oh yea the "We were waiting for you last night" one must be in? in which case i was not informed.... pretty pointless getting an event up and running when you don't inform the main person about it really eh?

However, in other news, as far as this story goes.. i have been released from the Mos Luna Jail after striking up a deal to work with the Imperials for a small payment in terms of assassination missions, intel gathering, etc.... Being a bounty hunter and what not

The only issue we have is how do we go about "assassinating" Rebel commanders? as i trust noone here wants their toon killed off in the RP sence...
The only way we could think of doing it is if other played a "Different toon" for the event of the assassination... or we use NPC's to act as targets... again the npcs would have to be that of the factionless kind or imperial.... (Being rebel it'll be impossible for me to attack rebel targets)

If we do use the imperial option... we could play it as they are traitors to the Empire and are currently in the process of handing over some Top-hush-hush plans of the empire of some such shit?

You weren't informed? Maybe have a look at the topic... Krystina posted on February 13th (!) for an event that was planned for 22th. So, you had nearly 2 weeks to note that this was planned and then say "I can't show up on that event for xy reason".

But nevermind, the Storyline is buried now and that's it.

If you feel you have chosen the wrong server feel free to push off we never asked for you anyway.
As for all this mud slinging, amazingly enough this rp event has been dragging for a VERY long time and tbh you should be congratualting Synner for still wanting to take part in it and not let rp die a death.

When ever theres a rp meeting he is there... I dont see you two mud slingers there ?????

He, surprisingly enough to you two who are blinded by your own big headedness, is quite willing to help out with these rp scenes and the 'Let me out' Threads are him making sure that the rp isn't forgotten about.

Also... all the other people involved are actually his friends. So watch who you are slagging off, before you upset more people than you care to and bite off more than you can chew.
