posting on the forums

hey everyone

not to be rude in any way, but when creating an account can people at least post something on the welcome thread so we know who you are etc. not sure without going and looking but I think there are a number of accounts that have never made any posts

wondering if a timelimit should be there after creating an account? so if you don't post after the first week/fortnight/month whatever that the account isn't being used and should be locked?

don't want to come over as a bitch or anything so if people are against this let me know, but I'm not sure why people are signing up to not participate at all

On the Mountain View Forum, I use the following rules:

1. Only IG Name as User names
2. more than 1 week not logged in -> Inactive group (rights are the same, just to show who is around)
3. more than 3 months : Account deleted. (often with tries to contact the user after 1 and 2 months)

Works fine for us, I think.
