New star wars mmo

This is Wyyymatakk's new wookiee on farstar as Wyyy will be moved to starsider.

Yesterday was the long awaited presnetation of bioware and lucasarts new mmo "the old republic"

I think it will be amazing if it even coems close too kotor but with the screenshots i hope the graphics wil be an advanced kotor version or better Jan Duursema drawngs(star wars republic/legacy dark horse comic)
then some childish wow stuff....

Bit too cartoonish for my liking, for someone that dislikes the lack of a scope on the E11 Rifle in SWG, I'm not sure how I can cope with Lightsabre hilts the size of Rocket Launchers.

I completely agree, looks more like a Star Wars: The Clone Wars MMO, that new SW movie that came out, the one that got terribuble reveiws.

Yeah even as a great sw fan i didn t like it , yeah some images and asoka is cute lol

The movie and the cartoons so far: its too much shooting. No character depth just all the famous ones again.
And the toons have no facial expression and walk like zombies

O and it 's just too much. Lots of storylines and better ones are already in the the novels and great comic series Rebuplic

to be honest if you look at the new Clone wars "film" as more of the television movie style. almost like a pilot or something for the new series (which I have to say I do like so far).

as for this new MMO i'm going to wait at least till more information comes out before I make a decision, I wanna know what races you can play as, what professions or whatever else is avaliable.

Asoka is kinda how I'd picture Krys in the wars tbh hehe

Well, I have never actually seen the Clone Wars film, it just got bad reviews, 'tis all.

Also, I take it Asoka is that female Twi.

She is a female Togruta, and possibly the most annoying character concieved for Star Wars.

The film was shambles, leaving me cringing most of the way through. The episodes however, are fantastic, and I've enjoyed every one so far.

I'm so watching Pulp Fiction tonight now

some excellent lines in the film, especially the big jules monologue. but the one I can't help but laugh at is (think this is right)

"ah shit... I shot Marvin in the face" (mainly just for the way he says it so casual lol)

Meh, I liked the Geonosian Episodes, Abit "Darker" in my mind, not all Kiddy, for Example, Zombie bugs. (Dead rising should be ashamed) For example, Bugs on Fire.
Oh yeah, and the Little worm thingys. The film? I went to see it but eh, Abit to "Cheeseball" for me.
